I’m Michelle Koster, the heart and hands behind Enchanted Studios.
My path here has been anything but linear. I spent nearly three decades working in commercial construction before stepping away from the life I knew, selling most of what I owned, and setting off to travel the world. What began as a one-year journey became nearly three, opening me to new places, perspectives, practices, and ways of living.
Eventually, another road trip brought me to the mountains of Western North Carolina and a little log cabin outside Waynesville. I knew almost immediately that I had found home. That cabin became Enchanted Studios, a place where many of the threads of my life have finally come together: sound, creativity, nature, connection, and meaningful experience.
What I Bring to the Work
Experience gathered from many places, practices, and chapters of life.
My approach to sound and wellness has been shaped by years of exploration, study, and lived experience. I began studying sound healing in 2016 and am a Level 2 Certified Sound Healing Guide through the Sound Healing Academy. I’m also a registered yoga teacher, with a background in personal training and movement.
But credentials are only part of the story.
Travel has been one of my greatest teachers. Experiencing different cultures, landscapes, traditions, and ways of living has continually expanded the way I see the world and reminded me there is rarely just one path toward feeling well, connected, or fully alive.
Creativity has always been another thread. I’m an artist, photographer, maker, and lifelong tinkerer, and I bring that same curiosity into the experiences I create. Sometimes that means sound and stillness. Sometimes nature, movement, ritual, reflection, or collaboration with another practitioner.
I’m less interested in following a formula than in creating space for people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and discover what feels meaningful to them.

Enchanted Studios grew from my own winding path, but it was never meant to be only about mine. It’s a place for slowing down, listening inward, creating, connecting, and perhaps seeing something from a different perspective. Whether you come for a sound journey, a special experience, or simply follow your curiosity here, I hope you leave feeling a little more connected to yourself and to the world around you.
